Inspire: Ours To Remember

The egg-stravaganza is over.

The woven baskets are put away, the plastic grass is all vacuumed up, the ham is wrapped and packed, the dresses hung back in the closet and the lone hold out egg is still lost out in the yard.

Now what?

Now what do you do with the Easter hangover of entertaining and socializing?

You take hold of forgotten words in a very important Bible verse.

“Remember how he told you.” (Luke 24:6b)

It’s not about a bouncing bunny carrying chocolate.

It’s not about the tulips and daffodils.

It’s not about a weekend of fun.

It’s about what He told them would happen.

It’s about what was offered on a cross.

It’s about what an empty tomb proved.

There is only One way to eternal life.

There is only One way to salvation.

There is only One way to the Father…

Jesus.

It’s ours to remember…just as He said.
